A visit from Mission friends, Nancy and Robert

When Nancy and Robert from Florida, USA, requested a visit to one of the Missions, they came bearing gifts.

There were towels and wash cloths from the ladies of the Columbiettes, rosaries and blankets which had been lovingly handmade by Robert’s mother.

Matikwe Mission was chosen for the visit, where Father Mdu and the Sisters were delighted to meet them.

Nancy and Robert were able to see the primary health clinic run by Sister Josephine, and the children’s feeding scheme run by Sister Pauline, where Nancy and Robert helped with handing out the plates of food, and even joined in the washing up afterwards.

As always, meeting our Mission supporters is a real privilege. And we’re always humbled by the effort our visitors make to spend time with us and witness how their donations are being used to make many differences in the lives of people in poor communities.
