Every year we ask for your help to provide warm blankets for those in our Archdiocese who face winter without weather-proof shelter, heating, or hot running water. And every year, we are amazed and humbled by your staggering generosity.

Thank you sincerely for supporting this effort to bring warmth and comfort to those who need it most. This year, blankets were distributed as far afield as Mthatha, which was originally established as part of the of the Mariannhill Vicariate. Parish administrator, Ms Gunkel, reported that, “The blankets came at a great time of need, after the floods that occurred in our town.”

Blankets are distributed by church officials to those identified as being in greatest need.
